It takes less than a minute to conduct a risk assessment and screen for dental disease. Oral health tips can be easily woven into anticipatory guidance regarding obesity prevention. Fluoride varnish is typically applied by nurses or medical assistants before or after immunizations. Reimbursement is available for providers that receive the free CME training provided by Washington Dental Service Foundation.
